My name is Remy Kim, and I am a rising junior located in Brookline MA. I love traveling, swimming, playing tennis, my puppy, and music/art. I have spent my whole life moving around, and my art is heavily inspired by my own experiences and the different cultures and art styles I have seen.
The picture shows the “The Perfect Pot”, a wheel-thrown sculpture. It depicts two pots of the same size and original shape, only one has been disfigured while the other remains “perfect”. It represents a comparison between perfect and imperfection—whether that comparison is between you and someone else, how you present yourself and how you feel, or you and how you think you should be, is up to you!
