Studies have shown that confidence levels dramatically drop in girls from the age of 8 to 14 years, and this lack of confidence can impact the likelihood of girls speaking out, voicing their opinions, and pursuing new opportunities. These studies, combined with many other motivations, prompted the founding of Project Voice, a youth-led organization dedicated to promoting girls’ voices and opinions. By developing confidence, self-advocacy, and speaking skills, we hope to empower girls to raise their voices and contribute to their communities.
